Welcome to our Nursery!

Our Nursery is a busy, happy place where lots of fun and learning takes place every day!

We plan and organise our environment so that our children have lots of opportunities to explore, discover and play, making lots of new friends with children and staff.

This term our topic is based on 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and we will be doing lots of activities about giants, giant writing, giant numbers and giant drawing and painting.  We will be growing our own magic beans to observe the growing process and we will be learning how to care for plants and animals.  As part of this, we will be having a school trip to Windmill Farm in July - lot of fun!

Please have a look at our Summer Curriculum overview to see details of what we will be learning in Nursery.

We will begin our toothbrushing programme, so we will be learning lots about looking after our teeth and foods and drink which can help to keep us and our teeth clean and healthy.

Nursery children will need pumps for their PE session on Thursday morning and each Friday they will bring home a lovely story book to share with you and a short activity to complete.

If you have any questions, concerns or just fancy a chat, please come and see one of the Nursery staff : Miss Cain, Mrs Haselden, Miss Preston or Mrs Beard.

If you would like to see how we organise our learning and day, please click on and have a look at the 'Nursery Curriculum and Information' file.
