YEAR 4
On this page, you will find the work that children can access at home each week.
READING
Each week, children will be provided with four activities that are based on the current whole-class text. At least four times a week, children should read their books from school. At least once a week, children should get comfy and read for pleasure.
If your child is currently accessing Reading Plus, this should be engaged with for 15 minutes per day.

WRITING
Children will using the Oak Academy. The link will be provided in the home-learning pack. To extend their learning further, children should also access and engage with their Spelling Shed account.
MATHEMATICS
Children will be provided with daily maths activities. Answer sheets will be provided alongside the worksheets. Videos will be uploaded to support children with their 'In Focus' task.
To extend their learning further, children should also access their Times Tables Rock Stars account on a a daily basis to ensure that can rapidly recall multiplication and division facts.
Any opportunities to support your child with telling the time would be beneficial.
FOUNDATION SUBJECTS
Children will be provided with five foundation subject activities per week.
For Year 4 children, this will be:
Monday: PSHE
Tuesday: History/Geography
Wednesday: PE
Thursday: Science
Friday: Art
To complete their science activities, children will need to access their Developing Experts account.
To extend their learning further, children could access their Purple Mash account.
