On this page, you will find the work that children can access at home each week.
Each week, children will be provided with three activities that are based on the current whole-class text. At least four times a week, children should read their books from school. At least once a week, children should get comfy and read for pleasure.
If your child is currently accessing Reading Plus, this should be engaged with for 15 minutes per day.
Children will be provided with daily writing activities. This will include a range of spelling, punctuation and grammar activities. To extend their learning further, children should also access and engage with their Spelling Shed account.
Children will be provided with daily maths activities. Answer sheets will be provided alongside the worksheets. To extend their learning further, children should also access their Times Tables Rock Stars account on a a daily basis to ensure that can rapidly recall multiplication and division facts.
Any opportunities to support your child with telling the time would be beneficial. Children in Year 3 are taught how to tell the time in 5 minute intervals, including quarter to and quarter past the hour and half past the hour. Children are also exploring how to tell the time in digital form.
